The Dream begins
For ten years I have been journaling my dreams, finding recurring images and symbols. In my dreams I see birds, gardens, oceans and other creatures and landscapes.
The Dream evolves
I call it painting with the dreaming eye. Making a painting involves dreaming, painting the dream images, more dreaming and development of the imagery.
The Dream revealed
The process is exciting, challenging and surprising. The finished work is often different from what was first envisioned. I use acrylic paint on canvas.
